How to Get Around Everyday New Thought
There are many features of Everyday New Thought Community Membership site and
it's easy to get confused and lost. That is one reason everything will not be
loaded right away. As time passes, more content will be posted on our site. We
have over 80 hours of teleseminar replays, mp3s you can download, articles you
can read, software you can use and most importantly community areas where you
can communicate with others.
If you're experienced in The New Thought Movement, then you can fare pretty
well on your own. You may be interested in listening to the teleseminar replays
or you may be interested in the articles. Take your pick, check out the blogs
and see what suits you.
If you're new, however, we recommend that you start with "What is New
Thought" followed by The Art of Making Things Happen! This is divided
(arbitrarily) into 12 steps which you can go through at whatever speed is best
for you. We have tried to put references to other information where pertinent in
this guide (e.g. there is a section on Treasure Mapping in The Art of Making
Things Happen. We have provided a link to the Treasure Mapping Software and
articles on Treasure Mapping. When we talk about affirmations and denials, there
are links to those sections too). Use this guide to get you going on how New
Thought will work for you. Understanding the role of denials is important -
check them out.
You can listen to "The Art of Making Things Happen" or follow the 12 steps/stages.

Affirmations - Tools For Living
Dr. Anne Kunath
Most people start out on a spiritual journey because they're dissatisfied with their present life. The human mind is convinced that somewhere, somehow, it ought to be able to bring to itself whatever it desires and would satisfy it. This thought is simply foreshadowing the reality. . . . keep reading

Denials -
Gateway to Changing Your Inner Thoughts
Dr. Anne Kunath
There are many organizations, particularly religious science, that do not do much in denials. Denials are considered the face washing, or clearing and cleansing process. What I wanted to do was to send some denials out to each one of you and have you do them for a week. . . . keep reading

Creating Effective Affirmations - Part 2
Dr. Anne Kunath
***Recognizing the belief systems is the first step to permanent change. I want to bring in something here that I teach every time I go out. I usually ask the people where I am, "What do we feel about mistakes? " Almost 90 percent of the people, maybe higher than that, will say there's no such thing as a mistake. . . . keep reading

Creating Effective Affirmations - part 3
Dr. Anne Kunath
***Getting Specific in Detail How specific do you get with the affirmations? This is the beginning of writing it down for yourself. First and most importantly, keep what you're working on secret. The more you talk to people about it, say what you want, what you're going to get and what you're working on, the more you diffuse the energy. . . . keep reading

Creating Effective Affirmations - part 4
Dr. Anne Kunath
***"Believing in What You Affirm." This is another important thing that we have to know and understand. When you have an idea, you want something new in your life, the recognition is that it was your idea. It came to you from a spiritual depth within you. It is yours by divine right. . . . keep reading

The Art of Making Things Happen - Step 2
Dr. Anne Kunath
The next step is for you to understand that the Energy works when you are consistent and dedicated. When you have a mixture of emotions, you create mixed results. This is why it's easier for us if we stay more consistently on the happy side, even if we don't feel that way. We grit our teeth and don't let ourselves go into a down area. . . . keep reading

The Art of Making Things Happen - Step 3
Dr. Anne Kunath
Step 3 -- creating your goal list Over the next week, I want you to create three goal lists. The first thing you do is write down everything you can think of that you want within the next five years. That will take a lot of writing. . . . keep reading

The Art of Making Things Happen - Step 4 - part 1
Dr. Anne Kunath
Step #4 - Concentrating on your mental acceptance. This is one of the biggest areas most people have difficulty learning to do. It's absolutely learning that you have to listen to yourself. You have to listen to what you want, not what other people tell you that you want. We went through a little bit of this last week. It won't be absolutely new. Some of these things, you have probably never heard of before. I teach it a little bit differently. . . . keep reading

The Art of Making Things Happen - Step 5
Dr. Anne Kunath
Blending Affirmations and Denials Use denials for any doubt. Since we are talking about denials and affirmations at the same point, I want to blend these together. Emma Curtis Hopkins always gave her students denials for one month before she accepted them into a class. Many of you have heard of her and read her books. . . . keep reading

The Art of Making Things Happen - Step 6 - part 1
Dr. Anne Kunath
Techniques that Speed Results. -- Treasure Maps Much of this comes from things that I've learned and adapted to what worked best for me. I teach only the things that have worked for me. If they didn't work for me, I don't use them. I developed something else. I change it. . . . keep reading

The Art of Making Things Happen - step 7
Dr. Anne Kunath
techniques to add feeling to make things happen This also is one that has worked for me. It is attaching it to songs. I wanted to go to Hawaii. I got "Getting on a Jet Plane" and Don Ho CDS. That's the Hawaiian music. Within a short period of time, I was on a plane going to Hawaii. . . . keep reading
